About

Welcome to Print & Play Days!

Here you’ll find fun, low-stress and budget friendly printable crafts, games and activities for families, group leaders, homeschoolers, teachers… basically anyone who is looking to fill an hour with the kids without the stress!

How it all started.

I started selling printable activities as a way to earn an income from home, but I’d been creating crafts and games long before that.

In fact, when I was about 5 or 6 – and genuinely thought I was running the church playgroup – I remember getting the “kids” to make a flower bouquets out of newspaper and organising sports day events with home made certificates for the kids on the street where I lived.

Later, as a mum of two, I found myself doing the same kind of thing for my own children, making tooth fairy envelopes, scavenger hunts, and little activities that created some family fun without spending lots of money.

I’ve also been a parent helper for Brownies, where the “1 hour a week” of volunteering quickly turned into much more!

Each week involved finding crafts and activities that worked for a range of ages and abilities, while also keeping costs, prep time and stress levels realistic.

Over time, that love of creating naturally grew into designing printable resources to share with other families, educators and group leaders too.

What I Believe.

I really love hands-on activities with children. I’ve never been good at doing the imaginative play – I always found it a bit boring, but being crafty, building things and making crafts is something I’ve always enjoyed doing with my kids.

Over time (and still learning), I’ve figured out what makes a great/successful activity, and that’s what guides everything I create.

First and most importantly, it has to be real life tested! I want fun and doable over Pinterest perfect every time. And when i say doable,I mean for the kids to be able to complete it as independently as possible.

There are far too many crafts and activities out there that end up as “the adult does it while the kids watch”, which is no fun for anyone (especially if you’ve ever tried running a group of children …ask me how I know!).

I want children to feel proud and excited about what they’ve made, not frustrated or left waiting for help that never quite comes.

Secondly, everything has to be budget-friendly. Especially for teachers, group leaders and volunteers who are often using their own money. I never want activities to feel like they come with hidden costs or extra pressure.

So with my printables, I hope you find something that is fun, affordable and genuinely easy to create!
